As part of the 33 Project, I need to figure out how to become a master Scotch drinker. Tonight, at my birthday dinner with my wife, mom, and dad, I had my first taste in the form of a Scotch and soda, and it went something like this:
OK, it wasn’t as bad as it looks. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised at how non-burny it was overall. And the buzz wasn’t bad either.
But I need guidance on where to go from here, on how to know what exactly I’m ordering and how to keep acquiring that taste until I’m Rat Pack-worthy. In short, I need an alcohol Yoda.
