Just something I thought was awesome for reals …
This Internet win is coming much earlier in the day than normal—partially because I’m going to try and avoid the wormhole that is Twitter on an election night, and partially because by then, this post will be moot.
But right now, it couldn’t be more spot-on.
If I were ever going to tell you whom I voted for, it would be this year, as in my mind, it wasn’t even close. However, depending on your own views, I’d either just be grandstanding or antagonizing you (which I admittedly can’t resist doing from time to time on Facebook and Twitter).
At this point, you know whom you want to win, and, call me crazy, I don’t think you’re looking to the author of a book called You Know Who’s Awesome? (Not You.) to affirm that decision or change your mind.
If you are, may God have mercy on all of us.
All that we can do is vote our consciences and see what happens. And no matter what the result, tomorrow morning, we’ll all still be stuck with each other, so maybe we ease up on the name-calling.
