Just something I thought was awesome for reals …
In a recent query, a link took us to a picture of the author’s breasts. #theresafirsttimeforeverything

To answer the question you’re all silently asking but don’t want to admit to: No, there’s no link to the photo. However, one of Lucy’s subsequent tweets did assure all of us concerned followers that they made for “a good set.”
Anyway, a little about Lucy: She is a literary agent at the Friedrich Agency in New York City, and you can find her on Twitter at @LucyACarson. Clearly, she comes across some interesting people from time to time and has a great sense of humor about it.
And just so we’re clear: Lucy gets the point for the Internet win, not the anonymous writer with the nice rack.
Wait, is that right? Yeah, I guess that’s right.
So thank you, Lucy, for giving all the aspiring authors out there a little piece of free advice: Namely, don’t include soft core porn in your query letter. Unless, of course, it worked, in which case I have a feeling the ranks of literary agents will soon be swelling.
