Just something I thought was awesome for reals …
Detroit for the win! Apparently there aren’t a lot of locals flying out of there for the national championship game. Sorry Blue.

This was my wife, Jenny’s, celebratory tweet after spending well over an hour online navigating Priceline to book me a flight out of the D to Fort Lauderdale so I can see my beloved Notre Dame Fighting Irish play for the national championship in person—or at least be in the general vicinity while the game is being played.
I’m pretty sure conjuring tickets that won’t necessitate a second mortgage requires some sort of dark magic, and Jenny is way too pretty for that.
If this seems like nepotism, tough. Not only did she spend all that time tracking down affordable airfare, she also greenlit this whole trip, even though it’s cost-prohibitive for both of us to go. And I’m going to go out on a limb and say that she wouldn’t mind leaving South Bend to head to the greater Miami area for a couple of days in January, especially since her birthday is just a week-and-a-half later.
So she gets the full Internet win point for both her tweet (including the sweet diss of Michigan football) and just generally being the best wife ever. Plus, she’s a great follow on Twitter (@jennyragerfox), particularly if you’re into fashion.
Thanks, babe. I love you.
