Internet Win of the Day: Festivus Edition

Just something I thought was awesome for reals …

tweet for @jonahweiner's New York Times Magazine Seinfeld profileHappy Festivus indeed. Pour yourself a cup of cocoa or coffee, click either on the image or right here, and settle in to read this behind-the-scenes glimpse at the way the greatest comic of our lifetime does what he does.

I fully admit that I may be more excited about this than a lot of you; that comes with the territory when you’re a veteran of the Great Seinfeld Watch and you’ve listened to your “Jerry Seinfeld on Comedy” CD more times than you can count.

Nevertheless, you don’t have to be scary like me to enjoy this profile. If you’re any kind of a fan of Jerry’s, interested in the way comedy (standup or otherwise) is crafted, and/or just like great writing, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

And speaking of the writing, Jonah Weiner (@jonahweiner, jonahweiner.com) is the man of the hour, grabbing today’s full Internet Win point. He is a critic for Slatea contributing editor for Rolling Stone, and a contributor to The New York Times, for whom he wrote this profile. Clearly, he is a pretty cool dude, one I’d want to hang out with if I wasn’t so consumed by jealousy over the fact that he and Jerry appear to be like BFFs.

Fortunately, Jonah’s piece really is a Festivus for the rest of us.
