Internet Win of the Day: Oct. 15

Just something I thought was awesome for reals …

This story from Mental Floss’s Rudie Obias spans from the king of all urban legends of cinema, The Wizard of Oz Munchkin suicide, to many I had never heard of, like a really creepy one involving Three Men and a Baby.

And no, it’s not that the movie is rumored to star Steve Guttenberg. That has proven to be all too real.

However, my favorite entry on this Top 10 is No. 8, which addresses the legend that the Apollo 11 moon landing was a hoax directed by Stanley Kubrick. Why? Because you have to admire the tenacity of the people trying to prove this theory, as evidenced by this video Rudie included in his story:

I have to admit, that music is convincing.

The point for today’s win belongs all to Rudie (@Rudie_Obias). I suggest you check him out, as well as the main Mental Floss account (@mental_floss), which is as entertaining and interesting a Twitter follow as there is.
